En Hemisferios nos gusta hablar de sociedad civil y de su papel en la sociedad. Y los colegios profesionales son un gran ejemplo. Hoy traemos al programa a uno que destaca por su brillante actividad y relevancia social, al Colegio Profesional de Ciencia Política, Sociología, Relaciones Internacionales y Administración Pública de la Comunidad de Madrid.

Y para hablar de él hemos entrevistado a Alberto Martinez Cano, insigne profesional con una dilatada experiencia, como el mismo nos explica durante la entrevista. Licenciado en Ciencias Políticas y Sociología por la Universidad de Deusto (Bilbao) y Curso de Postgrado: “Curso Superior de Dirección de Comercio Internacional”, por el Instituto de Formación Empresarial de la Cámara Oficial de Comercio e Industria de Madrid. Es miembro de la Junta de Gobierno y Coordinador de la “Comisión de Medio Ambiente y Sostenibilidad” de COLPOLSOC (Colegio Profesional de Ciencia Política, Sociología, Relaciones Internacionales y Administración Pública de la Comunidad de Madrid). Representa a COLPOLSOC en la Comisión de Medio Ambiente de la “UICM” (Unión Interprofesional de la Comunidad de Madrid) y en la “Red de Empresas Corresponsables de Madrid”. Ha sido miembro de Comités Técnicos de “CONAMA 2022” (Congreso Nacional del Medio Ambiente).

Coautor, junto con el Decano del colegio, del artículo “Medio Ambiente y dimensión política, social e internacional en España “y del documento “Gobernanza, Participación y Evaluación en la Agenda 2030”.

En 2023, ha sido distinguido por COLPOLSOC por su compromiso con la Institución, durante 25 años.

Ha sido entrevistado por distintos Medios de Comunicación sobre: “Políticas Públicas Verdes e influencia en la decisión de voto”, “Agenda 2030 y Plan España 2050”, en materia de Medio Ambiente, así como sobre “Los jóvenes y la lucha contra el Cambio Climático”, con motivo de la celebración de la UNCCC (United Nations Climate Change Conference – COP25).

En el campo de las Organizaciones Internacionales cuenta con una experiencia de 16 años en UNICEF en los campos de Gobierno Institucional, Relaciones Institucionales, “RSC” (Responsabilidad Social Corporativa), Deporte para el Desarrollo y Comunicación, habiendo sido Vicepresidente de UNICEF Comité de Madrid, Miembro de la Junta Directiva y Responsable de Deporte para el Desarrollo, Miembro del Gabinete de Presidencia de UNICEF Comité Español, Representante de UNICEF Comité Español en el Grupo de Expertos de AENOR sobre Responsabilidad, Social e Infancia y Representante Institucional de la Delegación de UNICEF Comité Español en el Viaje al Terreno – PERÚ 2011.

Ha sido ponente sobre “RSC” y Derechos de Infancia” y ha sido entrevistado por distintos Medios de Comunicación sobre “Emergencias Humanitarias” y Deporte para el Desarrollo”.

En 2014, fue distinguido con la “Insignia de Plata” de FUNDAL (Fundación Deporte Alcobendas) por el apoyo a la Fundación y su defensa de los Derechos de la Infancia y formó parte del Jurado de los “Premios FUNDAL a la mejor práctica en RSC” (2015-2018).

Cuenta con una experiencia de 21 años en distintas Empresas (IDOM Ingeniería y Consultoría, Ingeniería IDOM Internacional, INDEX e Ingeniería, Estudios y Proyectos NIPSA) en los campos de la Consultoría, las Relaciones Institucionales y la Energía..

At Hemisferios, we like to talk about civil society and its role in society. And professional colleges are a great example. And to speak about it, we have interviewed Alberto Martinez Cano, a distinguished professional with a vast experience, as he explains to us during the interview. He has a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Deusto (Bilbao) and a Postgraduate Course: “Higher Course in International Trade Management,” from the Business Training Institute of the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid. During his 16 years at UNICEF, he has held various relevant positions in the fields of Institutional Governance, Institutional Relations, «CSR», Sport for Development and Communication, having been Vice President of UNICEF Madrid Committee, Member of the Board of Directors and Responsible for Sport for Development, Member of the Presidency Cabinet of the UNICEF Spanish Committee, Representative of the UNICEF Spanish Committee in the AENOR Group of Experts on Social Responsibility and Childhood, and Institutional Representative of the Delegation of the UNICEF Spanish Committee in the Field Trip – PERU 2011.
